Dear TYLA Families,

I hope this email finds you and your families well.

Over the past several months, Trojan Youth Lacrosse has been working with the other area lacrosse programs affiliated with either the Central Texas Youth Boys Lacrosse League or the Capital Area Youth Girls Lacrosse League to determine how to respond to COVID-19.  At this point, it is clear that the 2020 Spring Lacrosse Season will not be able to resume.  While we are disappointed to officially cancel the remainder of the season, it has become apparent that resuming practice and games is not a realistic goal. 

We hope you and your players enjoyed the abbreviated spring lacrosse experience and we thank the many dedicated volunteers who invest so much time and energy in TYLA. We express our sincere gratitude to all TYLA Corporate and Family Sponsors this season- your contributions make our program viable.

Unfortunately, since many of the costs associated with spring season had already been incurred, we are unable to return a meaningful portion of the registration fees.  We are, however, planning to offer expanded fall lacrosse clinics and tournaments at no cost to players who were impacted by the cancellation.  Stay tuned for more information.

To wrap up the boys season we would like to gather any TYLA equipment that might be in your possession, especially goalie gear.  To make arrangements to return any loaner equipment, please contact  Kevin Knebel: kevinknebel@yahoo.com

To wrap up the girls season, we will hold our uniform turn-in next week:

Girls Game Uniform Turn-in Instructions:
Turn in Game Uniform Jersey and Skirt Only (Keep practice pennies)

• Please Wash Uniform 
• Put uniform in Plastic Bag with Player Name

Days/Dates: Wednesday-Thursday 27-28 May 

Location: Shepard House- Will have boxes outside. 7217 Running Rope, Austin, TX 78731.

All Uniform deposits will be shredded upon receipt of uniform

Merchandise Sales: 
Hats are for sale until Wednesday 27 May.  Please text 512.585.9190 if you want to order a hat and please include your name and email address on the text so an invoice can be mailed via Square (where you can pay with credit or debit card).  Orders will be available for pick-up to girl’s uniform drop off, so they will be available for pick up on 27-28 May at  Angie Shepard’s House: 7217 Running Rope, Austin, TX 78731.
